A lesson in kindess

Something beautiful happend today which is what prompted me to make this blog
my husband opened up the door and there was a package and he handed it to me to open and it was a lovely gift from http://www.etsy.com/shop/MsBekkahsCorner?ref=pr_shop_more she and I had been talking and she had asked for my address and she sent me this beautiful blanket for Sophie.

Ever since I started on etsy I made some great friends I didnt expect to it just happend people are so friendly and sweet on there and I find they share a lot of my interests.

So this is a thank you to everyone who has warmed my heart and made me realize that not everyone out there is bad.
You see over the years I had grown cold towards people I quit talking to them and I looked out at the human race with a heart filled with hate.
It wasnt good for me to feel that way and Im glad that feeling has began to vanish with the help of new friends old friends and family.

Let me start with the first person in my life who showed me love
My mom -She and I have always been close best friends
she made me paper dolls and read Nancy Drew to me long after most moms quit reading to their kids.
I dont know what I would do without her.

Josh-He made me realize that love is real and true and that when you quit looking you find.
I never knew I could have so much in common with someone

Merrill-I never knew much about you ..never knew for sure whether you were a boy cat or a girl cat..I didnt know your age..or your back story..But I knew one thing that I loved you..and still do

Holly-my cousin as a kid I always looked up to her she taught me how to make prank calls and moon traffic and light matches..which is one of my favorite childhood memories
and now I find that she is one of my heros because she helps so many animals and its because of her that I have sophie

Skipper-I grew up with you and you were my best friend you made me feel safe when I was alone and scared..Even though we didnt always get along I know you loved me and I love you ( RIP )

My dad-Even though he isnt really sure how to be a good dad..he still is in his own way..He knows how to make me laugh..and he taught me to be myself and not care what others thought.

Derek -My cousin who is more of a brother to me than a cousin thank you for playing with me when most older kids wouldnt have wanted to play with a little bratty kid.

My brother Justin- I realize we arent very close but I still have some pretty fond memories of you
You pushing me in the wagon..and watching you play video games and when you surprised me and bought me a bike when I was 6 and taking me to watch the Lion king and even though and getting me my first happy meal and introducing me to video games and horror movies
I just want you to know that even though we never really talk.the time I had with you was great.
That time you let me stay over and watched horror movies is one of my favorite memories.
and Kim -Im really sorry about the times we didnt get along..I could be a bratty kid and I thought that you were being mean..now that im older I look back and I realize you werent much older than me and you werent really being mean..you were just being young :)

My grandpa Gene -You remind me of winnie the pooh and elmer fudd
you are dapper and sweet and I need to visit you more
My Grandma Joyce-I love you even though I dont show it as much as I should
also Ive never met a couple as great as you and grandpa you stick together no matter what hard times come your way and you guys set a great example of what a marriage should be.

Grammy-I admire you for your strength and your morals you are sort of like a super hero in my eyes..

Mrs Vanburen-My art teacher and someone who gave me really good advice and of course gave me Merrill :)
Mrs Buckingham -my 5th grade teacher who always let me talk her ear off and taught me that reading was fun
My 6th grade teacher-who was a really great teacher and drove all the way to see me in a little play that meant a lot to me.

Mildred-Even though I know you wont read this because you are no longer you still remain in my heart as the sweetest little lady in the world you are my definition of what a lady should be your voice was music to my ears and you were so kind to me at a place where most people looked down on me.

Sophie-I love your fuzzy fluffy self and your cuddles and kisses.

Sherri-Joshs grandma just looking at her smile makes me smile..I love that little redheaded lady
