A scary flea market :)

A couple weekends ago I finally decided to brave it out and stop by the really scary flea market that Ive stared at for years and years.

Im glad that I did ..It turns out that it is not run by the guys from Deliverance
but by a sweet old lady and her son
Im not the only one who has been afraid to stop at this flea market just about everyone that I mentioned it to shook with terror when I told them I went there.

I found some good things though!

A great lamp that in the future will be used as our den lamp...( when I have a house and not a apartment )

We got it for 10.00 dollars when usually I see this type of lamp for about 100.00
Im very happy with it!!

Next I found some vintage kool aid cups that will be for sale sometime soon in my shop on etsy :)
I also found a Russ Berries doll I dont know much about it I put it up for sale in my shop

Its in good shape other than the fact that he or she is missing an eyebrow :(
I also found a few things for my animal charity shop
Its a vintage sippy cup I honestly dont know anything about it other that the fact that it is in good shape but missing its straw.

Im hoping that the animal charity shop will do better than it has
Ive been adding things this week.
Its been my goal in life to try to make a difference in the world
Ive had pets my entire life and they have made my life happy so its time for me to give back.
So many animals arent getting the love that they need and deserve..Unfortunatly I live in an apartment and Im only allowed one pet or Id probably adopt them all :)
So I've decided I would do everything in my power to help the ones that are searching for a home.

Awhile back I found a black and white cat figurine figurine at a flea market
around that same time I read the book "Ozma of oz" theres a part in the book where Dorthy is searching for the rulers of the Land of Ev who the Nome King had turned into objects she finally finds the youngest prince of oz who has been transformed into a purple kitten,
So I decided to paint the black and white cat figurine purple.
If you havent had the chance to read "Ozma of Oz" Id suggest it.

Stay tuned for more posts :)
