A Virtual Flea Marketing Trip with me

So I hadn't spent time with my mom in so long now because one of us would usually get sick and cancel or something and I have become quite the hermit plus she works but she had the last 2 weeks off and today was her last day so I thought I should do something with her I called her up wendsday and asked if she would like to go do something and she said..I don't know you always cancel on me so I don't see the point ...OUCH! and so I decided that no matter what I wouldn't cancel I would get up early even if I was tired and I would go because I do cancel on her way to often..and I feel horrible!

So I woke up a little before 10 am and tried to go back to sleep and couldn't so I called her up and she said she would pick me up soon.. So I got up and got dressed in my favorite horror movie tshirt ( she was so pleased haha )  It was my Dawn of the Dead shirt which she of course complained about and said I cant believe you would wear this on a nice Mommy Daughter day..at a nice restraunt ..

So She took me out to eat at this nice little tea shop and we had Asparagus Quiche and salad and a pot of Orange Spice tea and then we went to a flea market and I decided to take pictures.

I thought about getting that cute cat figurine..but I thought about what it would be like to ship it and changed my mind...

I have no idea what this is but it reminds me of Chubby from The Little Rascals
                                                           A Very Kitschy Clown

I spotted this at both flea markets we went to the first time it was 75.00 and the next for 65.00 ouch
I had something like this when I was a little kid..

a bunch of cute dog figurines
Blue and white china .. my moms favorite type ..This is the type of stuff she looks for when she goes flea marketing..
 Large...sort of creepy doll...

Really neat Willy Wonka poster..but they wanted 225.00 for it

 Beautiful chalkware carnival doll..
Sad dog bank Josh has this in plastic

Really neat kitschy Retro tacky awesome! I wish they hadn't been 10.00 a piece maybe Ill try my hand at making some.

Extreme Tacky Retro Chairs that I have been wanting for over a year now but have no room for and Josh doesn't want them in the house :(
A close up of the pattern on the chairs.. I really must have these

My dad used to smoke this brand...oh the memories....
A lamb planter so cute I almost bought it and then I remembered I have 2 lamb planters that I haven't sold yet...
I love vintage Christmas stuff its great and it reminds me of Joshs Grandma

I have wanted this guy for awhile but every time I come across him he is expensive and Im a cheapskate
and finally the last picture....I would hang this in my house

can you believe I only bought 3 things I got a vintage cat squeaky and Playskool Kid Sister ( the one I have talked about before ) The doll is in good shape except she doesn't have her original clothes and on the way home my parents Boston Terrier got ahold of her and messed up her hair so now I have to brush it out and put it back in pig tails...and a Oliver vhs ( I have told myself not to buy anymore vhs that I have no room but I have wanted to watch this movie for awhile it was a favorite when I was little )
The second flea market is HUGE we actually didn't finish going through it .. it used to be a nursing home which is kind of ironic and depressing ..My favorite booth that I buy Polly Pockets and Sweet Secrets and stuff like that was gone though and that was disappointing.

Well that's it for now :)

  1. Wow! This place had some cool stuff! Too bad it was so pricy! LOVE those cat figurines and that sheep planter! You should have gotten them!! Also... I totally have one of those weird vintage chairs! I got lucky and found mine at a thrift store for like $4 too! Hopefully you'll come across a cheap one some day too. They aren't super comfy... but man are they pretty!
